Let’s face it, life can be difficult. Thankfully, Jesus provided practical teachings that can help us if we apply them in our lives. Here’s a list of 5 teachings from Jesus that will improve your life when applied:
1. Love-When it comes to love, Jesus gave these directives: Love God. Love your neighbor. (See Matthew 22:36-40). When you replace hate with love and anger with kindness, your life will improve.
2. Live The Golden Rule Treat others as you want to be treated. Matthew 7:12 states it that simply. Improve your life today by treating those around you with kindness and respect.
3. Communicate Sincerely with God- God loves you. As your Heavenly Father, he stands ready to help you. Communicate with Him through prayer, express gratitude, and also ask for those things that you need. Great, life-changing power is available through sincere prayer. Chat with a missionary about the importance of prayer.
4. Have Faith- Faith in Jesus Christ means trusting Him, remembering Him, and following His teachings. It is a conviction that He is the Son of God. When you provide room in your heart to have faith in Christ, you will notice your life improve.
5. Freely Forgive- Forgiving is to pardon or excuse someone from blame for an offense or misdeed. The scriptures refer to forgiveness in two ways. The Lord commands us to repent of our sins and seek His forgiveness, and He also commands us to forgive others who offend or hurt us. By freely offering forgiveness, we can unshackle ourselves from the negative feelings that hold us back.
Love your enemies as a Christian
Loving your enemy is a must as a Christian
But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Lk6:35 Sometimes you wonder why you have to love your enemies, but if you deeply consider and meditate on what Apostle Paul said in Ephesians chapter 6.vs 10 to 18....you won't see any human being as your enemies.. :Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; In conclusion, You have to love enemies Who are your enemies? They are those that wrong you in one way or the other, those that offended you, those that shamed you, those that make you unhappy...lol..remember everybody is an enemy to somebody, the scripture is saying to us to love our enemy to know how we can live together in harmony despite the differences because spiritually human beings are not the real enemy Happy Sunday!!! Goes to the presence of God today with a pure heart, free from hatred and the likes. May we be mightily bless today!!!
